The Reverse Lateral triangle, naturally works with its forward lateral counterpart, in supporting power, timing and balance in the golf swing.
It is engaged when the torso rotation reaches full range of motion, and the torso initiates the downswing.
The Reverse Lateral Triangle is a complementary movement to the backswing. The shoulders, Knees and hips all move together, and a light opposing force is applied to the downswing, and the torso rotates towards its point of origin.
The Reverse Triangle elements, (shoulder, knee, hip and wrist) move naturally in response to the torso's returning movement to the ball.
There should be a feeling that there is some resistance to the downswing, as the weight of the club, the body and the cantilevering of the swing are all present in delivering the club to the golf ball with power and precision.
